Families: typologies by neighbourhood

The dataset presents the distribution of resident families by family type, estimated using appropriate hypotheses starting from personal data. This distribution was applied to reconstructed families which constitute an update based on the personal data trends of the Census results. Taking the census results into account makes it possible to limit the overestimation of the number of families affected by the registry office, providing a more realistic picture. In the file, the data is aggregated by distinguishing the heads of households by year, neighbourhood, age group, gender, household type and number of members. Due to the calculation procedures, the estimates made at the decentralization area level differ slightly from the data aggregation by district. This dataset was released by the municipality of Milan.
